What is Thermoelectric Cooling?

Many wine coolers are now being installed with thermoelectric cooling technology. Thermoelectric cooling does not require any compressors or coils, but more importantly, there are no vibrations that can affect the aging of your wine. The only moving part you'll find in thermoelectric wine coolers is a fan that circulates cold air in and hot air out.

Thermoelectric wine coolers do not contain CFCs or HCFSs, which are ozone-depleting chemicals. Wine coolers with thermoelectric cooling systems are energy efficient and eco-friendly. You can find this technology in many of our Avanti, Koolatron, and Vinotemp wine coolers.
